Why is that? Because of
<http://www.w3.org/TR/2000/REC-DOM-Level-2-Style-20001113/stylesheets.html#StyleSheets-extensions>
? It seems odd that if you remove and re-insert a <style> element it will be
re-parsed and you will lose any dynamic changes you've made to it.
