Very strange.  In the packet dump, there is a DNS request for cgi.ebay.com.au,
and a response is returned in less than a second.

Even stranger is that a web page is asked for about 1.5 seconds later and then
is returned in about 0.5 seconds after that.  Did the page end up loading, or
did you get the error message?
