Although Han unification is by far the most prominent, it is not the only
problematic one - the same issues exist with Arabic/Urdu, Greek/Coptic,
Russian/Serbian, and modern/old (church) Cyrillic (examples taken from Unicode
Demystified by Richard Gillam, chapter 3).
