Oops, you are right, my workaround is incorrect. Could you please verify that
the real world issue is actually fixed in nightly builds?

I'm setting the component back to HTML DOM - JavaScriptCore doesn't parse
comment nodes or decode the scripts, it is the job of WebCore (and the
description of the component explicitly states that it includes parsing).
