They do seem to have changed their site substantially, such that drag/drop now
works in Safari.

However, the whole page now flashes selected when dragging stuff.
http://www.zimbio.com/portal/McMurdo+Station+Antarctica
is an example.  Pick up one of the blocks and drag it arround, the page will
flash repeatedly.
