Sorry, I was making a silent assumption that creating an HTTPRequest
abstraction may lead to a URLRequest abstraction which may lead to a document
loading abstraction (if there isn't already one) which may eventually fix this
bug by setting the correct mime type on a document loaded from a local
filesystem.

Yeah, I know, that was quite a leap.  :)
