Great, thanks guys, I shall try and get the free "Online" ADC membership and
report the bug at http://bugreport.apple.com

Although I think that the procedures should re-evaluated so that bug reports in
http://apple.com/macosx/feedback actually do get to engineers desks. After all,
it is an option under feedback type>bug report. It seems wrong to me that it
doesn't. Moreover, I don't understand quite why you (Darin) said there isn't
'provision for information flow in both directions (back to the person
reporting)' since the feedback form has an option for the customer to add their
e-mail.

Please could either http://apple.com/macosx/feedback do what it says and allow
bug reporting. Or please could it request that bug reports are filed at
http://bugreport.apple.com (making it clear that one can get free membership
for bug reporting as looking at the ADC website this wasn't very clear - only
thanks to David Kilzer's last comment did I discover this!)
