In the original test case, the result is only updated in onKeyUp and onFocus
handlers - but neither is called when the x button's action is executed.
OnFocus is (maybe erroneously) called when the button is pressed, but you can
try to click and hold to see the difference.

This doesn't look like a bug to me.
