          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P2

ARRRRGH! Safari is evil!

I clicked a link in an email, and one of the bugs I was working on, and had
spent 20 minutes entering a comment to, reloaded, and I lost all that work with
no way to get it back. There was no "Undo Page Reload" menu item, there was no
Back button to click, nothing. I was screwed.

Safari should save the contents of form fields when it reloads a page, and
either reinsert them automatically, or present a sheet and give the user a
choice to do so when the page is reloaded.

"Safari is about to reload this page. Would
you like data entered into forms on this
page to be restored or erased afterwards?"

[Cancel Reload] [Erase] [Restore]
