I am 99% sure that file extensions are mapped via Mac OS X and/or the Safari
application bundle, which means this can't be fixed in WebKit.  Instead Apple
must fix this bug.

I would suggest refiling a "Radar" bug on https://bugreport.apple.com/ with
your Apple Developer Connection (ADC) membership.  (If you do not have an ADC
account, you may sign up for a 100% free "online" membership at
http://connect.apple.com/.)

Please note the Radar bug number in this bug and add the "InRadar" keyword if
you do this.
