Summary: Smoothed scrolling on two-finger scroll regardless of
                    system setting
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 420+ (nightly)
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
        ReportedBy: 1im16m802 at sneakemail.com

Related to bug 5416

I have a problem with the scrolling changes in 2.0.3+ as Safari/WebKit will now
use Smoothed scrolling when a MacBook trackpad's two-finger scrolling feature
is used, regardless of the setting in System Preferences. It operates as
expected with a scrollwheel.

The MacBook has a pretty poor screen for ghosting, and this makes certain
colours of scrolled text unreadable during the scroll.
