Apparently, three of the four problems have been fixed by the fix to
rdar://problem/4644614: "REGRESSION: Typing, pasting or dragging in new text
areas causes unnecessary scrolling".

The scroll wheel's speed is still different, though: in the old textarea, I
can't scroll it all with a single movement of the scroll wheel. In the new one
I can. I don't know if this is the intended behavior.
