Unfortunately, this is a duplicate of Bug 7738.  Also rather unfortunately,
this bug can't be fixed in WebKit--it's in the network code of Mac OS X.

Apple is already aware of the problem since an internal "Radar" bug has been
filed (<rdar://problem/4110617>), but apparently they haven't fixed it in a
released version of Mac OS X yet.
