The discussion is very interesting, however because of the (nice!) new code for
options
and optgroups by adele, my patch is getting outdated. So after discussing with
adele on
irc we decide to wait for adele to cover this bug while fixing <select> lists.
Ofcourse any
part of this patch can be reused if needed.
