I don't see "script" listed as a link type in HTML 4.01:

http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/types.html#type-links

Testing Firefox 1.5.0.4, <link rel="script"> is not supported in either quirks
mode or in XHTML 1.0.  WebKit r15145 does not support it, either.  I haven't
tested MSIE 6 yet.
