Ok, this testcase caused me to find quite a few bugs. This one is correct, the
rect doesn't show because the %-sizing is off, if you change it to 300x300,
which i'll do in a new testcase, it works but it shows that it doesn't inherit
the size. Filed bug 9752 to address the percentage issues.
