Summary: Text entry whitespace and selection problems
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 420+ (nightly)
          Platform: Macintosh
               URL: http://wiki.splitbrain.org/playground:playground
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: New Bugs
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
        ReportedBy: jmullman at mac.com

Sometimes, when I want to highlight a portion of the text, multiple lines (that
I did not intend to select) become selected. This also appears to happen while
I am typing.  Random bits of text are selected as I am entering text.  The
problem does not occur within Safari(419.3) on the same page.

The whitespace issue.  Sometimes, when I attempt to click into what appears
to be an empty line, the cursor jumps up to the end of the line just above
it.  When I press down or right on the keyboard cursors to move the cursor to
the desired position, it simply jumps down to the begining of the line below
the one I want it on.  When I delete, it behaves as if there is a line there,
and moves the third line up to the second, and then up to the first after
pressing delete once more.
