I don't want to play bug ping-pong here, but your reply is still incorrect. For
one thing, Terminal does *not* use smoothed scrolling when it shouldn't, though
Mail does. Neither does iTunes, nor iPhoto, and Safari didn't until 2.0.3. This
suggests to me that it is by no means an OS-wide thing, nor is it consistent. 

And since both you and I know the bug reporter you suggest is even more of a
black hole than Radar, I'm not going to bother it with something that's set on
an application-by-application basis. 

I'd appreciate your not closing this bug again until you have something more
concrete than "I can make some other apps scroll like that" to say that this is
correct behaviour.
