Summary: Multiple Select box requires double clicks instead of
                    single clicks
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 412+
          Platform: Macintosh
               URL: http://www.hopstudios.com/multiple_select_sample.html
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTML Forms
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
        ReportedBy: nep at hopstudios.com

I’m using a Mac (10.3.9 or 10.4.2). I’m trying to select multiple items in a form select box.

Here's a page with an example multiple select menu: http://www.hopstudios.com/
multiple_select_sample.html

Select something. Now add a second selection. Only a double click causes a second/third/fourth
category to become selected. A single Command-click doesn't actvate anything. For that matter, it
takes a double click to unselect it, too. I’ve tried this on several machines.

In Firefox (and in any other browser and the Finder and...) I can use the Command (Apple) key and
single click on each item to add it to the selection.

Seems odd, and completely irregular... I can't think of any other software that requires a doubleclick....
But it's been around for so many versions I can't think it's a bug... Am I wrong?
