Thanks for the suggestion but I think any other web pages which deploys
javascripts can cause this performance issue. You may want to search the apple
safari forum (URL:
http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=876&start=0), so many users
having Safari performance problem with javascript turned on and they report big
performance gain by turning off javascript (albeit with some losses of
functionality).


By anyway, here is basically the list of items that I use in My Yahoo:

o 4, 5 porfolios with at most 20 stocks each.
o Weather news for around 10 cities
o Yahoo best fare tracker
o Yahoo calendar
o Yahoo photo
o Ask Yahoo
o Ten different news site
o Maps
o 4, 5 deals of the day
