Good news.

Up to r12949 (23rd Feb) this problem was still very much present. In the
meantime I had found the same problem with a few more websites, including
versiontracker (http://www.versiontracker.com) and using gmail (although there
I can't isolate the problematic page).

Well, today I downloaded r12988 (25th Feb) and I have not had any problem
since. I would wait a few more days before being sure it is definitly solved,
but given before this would happen more than 10 times a day, and now none, my
guess is that it is.
