Cleaned up test case in synchronous mode

I've cleaned up the test case provided.  It is set to use synchronous mode, and
behaves identically in Safari and IE 6.  Firefox behaves slightly differently
in that it doesn't fire the readystate callback at all during the loading,
while IE and Safari do.  In my opinion this test case demonstrates that
synchronous XmlHttpRequesets work as intended.
