Summary: Text select-and-drag bug: Multi-line selection can
result in dragging floating underlines...
Product: WebKit
Version: 420+ (nightly)
Platform: Macintosh
OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.0
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: New Bugs
AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
ReportedBy: gblock at ctoforaday.com
Version: Nightly, r12668
This is *really* hard to describe; I'm doing my best here. I'll post an
example of what I'm reading so you can perform the action yourself and see what
I mean.
Step 1: Go to http://www.apache.org/
Step 2: In the paragraph under "Farewell to Nicolas Chalumenau", select the
entire first sentence - the entire first line, plus part of the second line
which ends with "of October at the age of 27.".
Step 3: Drag that text selection.
You should see the text you selected, as well as, off to the right, *just the
underline* from the link that appears on that line.
No idea what part this bug belongs to. Filing as "new bugs" and hoping someone
can triage.
