Summary: Safari sometimes downloads website indexes to a file
rather than displaying them
Product: WebKit
Version: 417.x
Platform: Macintosh
OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Website
AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
ReportedBy: damien.sorresso at ilstu.edu
I can't really get any more specific than the summary. I don't know what
conditions this happens under. But sometimes, Safari will simply download a
site's index to a file rather than displaying the site. I'm guessing that
there's a problem with NSURLRequest's URL response parsing, since I also filed
a bug regarding invalid responses earlier this week.
