Wildfox's half-patch

This is a stab in the right direction, but really doesn't solve the problem. 
With this patch applied way more than enough area is being invalidated.  I
assume because RenderFlow has some logic in it to invalidate the entire line
when any part of that line changes.  So this isn't the right fix, but it's a
start.
