I think this problem started today after I installed the new nightly update. 

I use Google Mail and when I read a message in the inbox and then go to reply,
it expands the box to allow a space for text, but I cannot enter any text into
the box.

I've tested this with Safari and Firefox and both allow me to enter data into
the reply area.
