Summary: An embeded Quicktime movie doesn't play if its URL has a
                    HTTP 302 redirect
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 420+ (nightly)
          Platform: Macintosh
               URL: http://podemus.com/play/player.php?&qt=1&mac=1&pls=http:
                    //feeds.feedburner.com/~r/diaryofafauxjournalist/~5/1732
                    8251/Ryanne-BehindTheScenesAtTechnorati831.mov
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P2
         Component: Plug-ins
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
        ReportedBy: deborniol at gmail.com

When embedding a Quicktime movie in Safari, it doesn't play if the URL of the
file actually redirects to another URL (for example:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/diaryofafauxjournalist/~5/17328251/Ryanne-BehindTheScenesAtTechnorati831.mov
).
See
http://podemus.com/play/player.php?&qt=1&mac=1&pls=http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/diaryofafauxjournalist/~5/17328251/Ryanne-BehindTheScenesAtTechnorati831.mov
for an embedded example.
When calling the URL directly via Safari's address bar, the video is played.
It also works in Firefox.
This is a critical bug since redirects are often used on media files, in order
to count download statistics, specially in podcasts.
