Hmmm. not sure about the failure to repro: I get his every time, and on every
page I ever tried it on.

In addition, shift-arrow and other keys which should modify the selection do
not work under any circumstance.

I am on a laptop (1.67 GHz 15" Alu Book) if the type of keyboard may be
interacting with this bug?
