The test case works in Firefox, but not in WinIE for me.

Please note that the titles of the options are displayed incorrectly in both
stock Safari and ToT. This is highly related to bug 8398, but I have also
noticed that the behavior in stock Safari depends on the parsing mode (i.e. the
presence of a DOCTYPE). Probably worth a separate bug report.
