Sorry to take time getting back. No, I haven't tested with the new build. We
support our application over an installed base of all the GA versions of
Safari. I was submitting this as a courtesy since I didn't see it reported, and
I wanted to confirm this is truly a bug. While it is nice to know the fix will
be in a later version, we really need an alternate functional solution for the
current versions.

We're trying to prevent the user leaving our application without logging out,
so we try to hold any action off site or back hostage. I know, we shouldn't be
doing that, but so it is. Used to be we could redirect with a
document.location.replace("/"); This also no longer seems to work in our latest
GA Safari. But at least it doesn't blow up the browser ;-)
