Summary: Large (400+mb) memory usage when scrolling gifs. Only
                    some of it released
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 420+ (nightly)
          Platform: Macintosh
               URL: http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=20107
                    33
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: New Bugs
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
        ReportedBy: webkit-bugs at gentlyusedunderwear.com

Go to http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=2010733 and scroll the
page after it loads the images (all the way down). Safari will spike to just
over 400megs of memory being used. If you close the tab and then wait, only
about half of that amount will be released.

However, this could just be a bug in ImageIO.
