Summary: Site says browser can't access; but it works
Product: WebKit
Version: 420+ (nightly)
Platform: Macintosh
URL: http://www.socialsecurity.gov
OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.0
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: Accessibility
AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
ReportedBy: watson.allen at comcast.net
The home page for this .gov site says it will not work with any Mac browser. I
accessed it successfully using standard Safari (not Webkit) with User Agent set
to IE 6.0.
So, apparently, there is no problem except with the information on the site. I
don't know if this is considered appropriate for a bug report, but the page
where people can apply for Social Security online should work with Mac browsers
and say so.
