It would also be possible for us to cache non-opaque versions of the images and draw those instead, if we
know that the the area underneath the opaque image has not changed. The CG guys I'm sure could
provide guidance in this area. A reduced test page would be nice. It won't be possible to make a layout
test for this unfortunately.
