Patch

Patch is ok, but we need to first upgrade the version of weston that the test
bot runs (currently 1.8) so it matches the one we are building here. Otherwise
tests will fail to run due to mismatches on the xdg_shell protocol and stuff
like that. I will land the patch after upgrading the bot (hopefully this
