Getting closer. Still work in progress, but I'd like feedback on whether this
is the right general approach. I've fixed the issues with those 3 layout tests.
I've also added a new layout test which is a reduced testcase from Wikipedia,
and fixed one issue with that, though one issue (with nested inline elements)
remains.
