Updated patch based on IRC discussion last night with Tor Arne Vestbø and
Kenneth Christiansen.

Patch also substitutes a runtime check for the macro Q_WS_MAC.

Now, that bug #33711 has been resolved we can use navigator.platform in the
layout test.
