If it helps,  I've updated the patch with two completely new files
drthistory.cpp and drthistory.h and removed historymanager.cpp and
historymanager..  The class they implement is now called DRTHistory.  I'll also
submit a diff between the arora historymanager.cpp/h and drthistory.cpp/h. Hope
this isn't OTT but just documenting that they are demonstrably non-derivative.
