I removed whitespace in different places and updated the code to retrieve the
screen resolution from gdk.

And I renamed user-stylesheet-path to just user-stylesheet since it really is
about only one file and not a folder. Incidentally I would find an actual
user-stylesheet-path referring to a folder worth a thought, but that's out of
the scope of this bug.
