I'm one of the phonon guys. The reason I'm asking is because we *want*
phonon to stay used by QtWebkit. Not too sure what your reply is trying to
say, but thanks for the gobs of praise anyways :)

There is no plan for KDE to use QtMultimedia. Phonon is and will always be
the multimedia toolkit for KDE.
