Make sure that CONFIG(maemo5) is set. Platformplugin is optional for all platforms; I'm not aware of the existence of platformplugin specifically for Maemo5.

Hmm.. I don't know the state of Maemo5 regarding the platform plugin
(was there a plugin back then?). Anyway, try a standard build and
check how the previous version was packaged.

The code of the current platform plugins (symbian and meego/harmattan)
has not been upstreamed yet, but that should happen in the next days
or weeks:
