Found it https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37207 .
It was discussed when 4.7 aka 2.0 wasn't released yet, points in the comments least from my part are still valid.
I guess for clarity a new bug report could be made.

Explanation why it is 4.8.0 is in the report. Reasoning is that we didn't have any releases that were not bound to Qt out although 2.1 was planned.

With Symbian in our current deployment scheme (standard Symbian) you can have only one qtwebkit.dll in the system.
This makes it very important that we get the numbers right.

I like the second option better. If we'd go with first option then starting from e.g. 10 would be possibility.
