Broadcom Connected Home team is looking for a strong WebKit developer
with embedded systems experience. Ideal candidate would  be a
contributor to the webkit project and would have experience in porting
webkit to embedded linux platforms. Android and Chrome experience is

We have exciting opportunities for talented individuals looking to
take connected home technologies to the next level. Utilizing an
expert knowledge in C/C++ software development, you will be working in
a dynamic environment developing webkit based solutions for settop and
consumer electronics platforms. Responsibilities include:

- Enhancing browser capabilities to leverage platform-specific features.
- Benchmarking and improving browser performance on Broadcom chipsets.
- Developing browser plug-ins and extensions.
- Supporting webkit on multiple frameworks (Android, Chrome, Qt, etc…)

Job Requirements	
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with at
least 3 years direct experience.
- Embedded application development on MIPS or ARM based platforms.
- Web based application development (Adobe Flash, embedded web
browsers, XML, HTML, Ajax, for embedded devices).
- Ability to work with Linux and Windows
- Experience with Android a plus.
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D Graphics APIs (DirectFB, Cairo and OpenGL).
- Experience with WebKit porting.
- Working knowledge of webkit rendering and layout internals.
- Team player willing to take on ownership of a task with a results
oriented attitude.
