Panasonic is looking for a Sr. SW Engineer with experience developing
Core Browser Applications in WebKit or Mozilla. 

 
Job Duties: 
Design, prototype, develop, integrate, and enhance applications for
networked connected consumer products
*           Participate in defining software requirements.
*           Seek understanding of goals of cross-organizational team
members to help the team as a whole succeed.
*           Maintain a current understanding of emerging technologies
and trends in services and tools
*           Contribute to and develop patentable intellectual property.
*           Work closely with project manager and other team members to
understand product requirements.

 

Basic Qualifications/skills sets:

C/C++ development under linux OS, embedded preferred
System level programming - linux system libraries
Experience developing graphical applications using GTK+ and Cairo 2D
library

Specific skills:
Experience with Webkit (strong match) or other web engine such as
Mozilla.
Experience writing web applications
Experience developing browser plugins using NPAPI architecture.
