[webkit-help] HTMLAudioElement not deleted on leaving page

Hi dev team and everyone else.

I'm having an issue I'm trying to figure out.
I've got an HTMLAudioElement created by JS on page cuttherope.ie.
The element is created and even receives a url to load.
However, the element is not given a parent, or a sibling, thus is not added to any container element.
As a result, when navigating away from the page, it doesn't get destroyed (since not a part of a DOM tree).
I have very little idea how JS engine is working, could you please direct me where to look next ?

I would appreciate any help.
