Thank you, Adam,
Now what I am hoping to do is:
Since I already have all dlls I need(WebKit.dll from nightly build,
CoreFoundation.dll, etc from safari). And I also have Project sln file from
nightly source.
I want to solely build MiniBrowser.exe, so that I can get familiar with
Webkit API, and do some modifications (Build every thing cost too long
time).
You said I need to build WebKit2 first. I built WebKit , and see
\WebKitBuild\Release have 4 folders: include, lib, obj, bin (include folder
has WebKit2\WebKit2.h as you mentioned, and bin folder has things similar to
nightly build)
I guess what I need is just \WebKitBuild\Release\include (header files) ,
and dlls(I use dlls in directory of \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application
Support for convenience)
I open the WebKit.sln in Source\WebKit\Win\WebKit.vcproj,
I only care about MiniBrowser project, right click it, choose Properties.
In Configuration Properties->C/C++->General->Additional Include
Directories, I add : \WebKitBuild\Release\include (header files)
In In Configuration Properties->Linker->General->Additional Library
Directories , I add the position of \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application
Then I rebuild only MiniBrowser,
It shows some error message like:
1>Deleting intermediate and output files for project 'MiniBrowser',
configuration 'Debug_All|Win32'
1>Performing Pre-Build Event...
1>cygwin warning:
1> MS-DOS style path detected: \Debug_All\buildfailed
1> Preferred POSIX equivalent is: /cygdrive/c/Debug_All/buildfailed
1> CYGWIN environment variable option "nodosfilewarning" turns off this
warning.
1> Consult the user's guide for more details about POSIX paths:
1> http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/using.html#using-pathnames
1>Project : error PRJ0002 : Error result 1 returned from
'C:\Windows\SysWow64\cmd.exe'.
1>Project : warning PRJ0018 : The following environment variables were not
found:
1>$(WebKitLibrariesDir)
1>Build log was saved at "file://c:\Debug_All\obj\MiniBrowser\BuildLog.htm"
1>MiniBrowser - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)
========== Rebuild All: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 skipped ==========
Do you think if there is a way I can solely build MiniBrowser? Assume I
already build everything beforehand.
I think building everything once is fine, but I don't want to build
everything every time even when I made a little change for a single
project(like Minibrowser).
Thanks very much, and have a great day!!
