[webkit-help] Video rendering in WebKit

Hi,
    I'm using WinCairo port of WebKit.Could anybody explain

   - how video content in HTML pages are rendered?
   - When exactly is the  media plugin called?

I have gone through the source code but things are getting more confusing
for me.
