If you don't have any JS bindings, the IDL is not needed. Also
depending on what you want to achieve, you may have 2 custom *Custom.h
*Custom.cpp files per JS engine for what cannot be auto-generated.

You are right, it is generate-bindings.pl that is used.

You're thinking about that the wrong way. It's your responsibility to
make the manual part to match the auto-generated ones (you control
both the IDL and the .cpp). The generate-bindings.pl signature are
very easy to deduce from the IDL.

Pick your favorite editor, create your file and add the new IDL +
cpp/h files to your platform and hopefully enjoy!
