[webkit-help] update-webkit fails for a git setup.

Hi,

I'm trying to download a snapshot tarball from the qtwebkit gitorious and am also having problems.  Wonder if they are related?

Hi All,

I tried updating my webkit checkout with the update-webkit command and ran into the following error:

Updating OpenSource
remote: Counting objects: 32, done.

Migrating from a git-svn v1 layout...
Data from a previous version of git-svn exists, but
.git/svn
(required for this version (1.7.3.4) of git-svn) does not exist.
Done migrating from a git-svn v1 layout
Unable to determine upstream SVN information from working tree history

Died at ./Tools/Scripts/update-webkit line 129.

I tried the same with a fresh clone of the repository and it also fails with the same error.

Running git svn info gives me:
Unable to determine upstream SVN information from working tree history

Does anyone know what might be wrong?
