Hi,
I'm interested in using WebKit(2) for iOS development. Having looked through
the nightly-build source code and build products (for OSX 10.7) it looks
like both WebKit and WebKit2 use the Carbon application environment, as I
understand it Carbon is not appropriate for iOS development (please correct
me if I'm wrong about that). Given that I will need to migrate the Carbon
dependencies to something else (currently planning Cocoa), can anyone tell
me if WebKit2 has fewer Carbon dependencies than WebKit? Any and all
answers, ideas and opinions are welcome, I am learning WebKit as I go and I
would appreciate the insight of the community :)
Also, does anyone know if the latest version of Safari is using WebKit2?
Thanks,
Jim
