</span>I look very quickly into this (just a quick grepping of the ChangeLogs). It<br>
used to be a build-time option, and at some point suppot for ES6 modules was<br>
turned into a runtime option, as an outcome of this bug:<br>

then later on, the runtime setting was removed and support for modules got<br>
*always* built and enabled. I would expect modules to be working, or to be<br>
very easy to get working in case we might be missing some port-specific code.<br>

I guess we can try to figure this out at some point, but no ETA for now.<br>
